5 Free Printable Valentines Cards for School

Today I’m making Valentines for my son’s class at school, so I thought I’d share with you five easy free printable Valentines cards that you can make at home. I am going to be sharing with you all the printables used at the end of the post, so stick around to the end if you want to download the freebies. Ok, let’s jump right in.

Free Printable Valentines Cards #1 – Matchbox Cars

So the first one I’m gonna be showing yall are these cute little matchbox cars Valentines.

For this one, you’re just gonna need your printable, a piece of string or ribbon (I’m using twine for this one), and then your matchbox cars.

I bought this pack of 3 from the Dollar Tree, but you can also order a larger pack of matchbox cars off Amazon or from Walmart.

So you’re just going to take your car and place it where you want it on your printable. I’m using an exacto knife to mark the sides of the car where you’re going to put your string.

Then where your marks are, you just punch a small hole and take your string or twine and thread it through the holes. Then you place your matchbox car and just tie a little bow around it, and so it’ll look like this when you’re done.

Free Printable Valentines Cards #2 – Trading Cards

The second Valentine we’re going to be making today is this little trading card Valentine.

So I used Pokemon cards, because my son is all into Pokemon and trading them with his friends, but you could also use like a baseball card or a football card, something like that with this printable.

To make this one, you’re just going to need your printable and your trading card.

Super easy…you just place your printable, fold the sides back around your card, then turn your card over and tape the sides down on the back. I’m using double-sided tape, but regular tape would work fine too.

Free Printable Valentines Cards #3 – Pencils

The third printable Valentine I’m sharing are these little pencil printables.

So all you need for this one is your printable and some pencils. I bought this pack of 12 from the Dollar Tree, which makes them like $0.08 a piece. So they’re super affordable and really easy to make, but still cute and personalized.

An exacto knife is much easier to use for this one than a pair of scissors.

So you’re just going to make two small cuts on your printable with your exacto knife. I use the little row of pencils on the prinable as a guide for where to make the cuts.

Then you just slide your pencil through the holes that you made and there you go.

Free Printable Valentines Cards #4 – Playdoh

Next are these Play-Doh Valentines. I think these are so cute, and what kid doesn’t like Play-Doh, right?

So for this one, you’re just going to need your printable and one of the smaller containers of Play-Doh.

I bought this pack of 8, and these are off-brand because they’re from the Dollar Tree. But on Amazon, you can buy a bigger pack of the small containers of Play-doh for around $0.50 a piece.

So I’m using an exacto knife and I’m just cutting like a star shape in the middle of the circle and using the circle in the printable as a guideline for where to make your cuts.

Then you’re just going to fold the little cuts that you made down a little bit and push your container of Play-Doh into the circle.

Free Printable Valentines Cards #5 – Glow / Light up

The fifth one I’m going to be sharing with y’all today are these little light up glow stick Valentines.

For this one, you’re just going to need your printable, your glow toy, and some type of ribbon or string to tie it up.

So, you’re going to take your glow toy and place it where you want it on your Valentine, and again use your exacto knife to mark where your holes will be on each side of your toy.

Then just cut a small hole on the places that you marked, and thread your ribbon through the holes. Tie a bow around your glow toy, and that’s it.

I used these little glow stick cars and planes, but these would also work with any kind of glow sticks or even like the little finger lights, really anything that lights up or glows would work with this printable.

Bonus: Free Printable Valentines Teacher Gifts

I decided to throw in one last thing for yall…these cute little teacher printables that I made.

We don’t do big gifts for Valentine’s Day, since we buy bigger things for Christmas and teacher appreciation gifts, but something small for the teacher for Valentine’s Day never hurts.

So this first one is this little “Hands down, you’re the best teacher around” printable that you can put on a hand sanitizer or hand soap.

I just taped the printable right onto the container.

The second one says “Teacher, you’re the bomb,” and so I just threw a couple little bath bombs into a bag and attached the printable.

These make such cute, easy, and inexpensive teacher gifts.
