Guys…if you are still going to the grocery store…in person…kids in tow…you need to get with it sister and do some grocery pickup. Seriously, life changing.
I use Walmart grocery pickup. The grocery stores are a little bit limited in my area (sadly, no Aldi or Kroger here) but I have found our Walmart to be pretty cheap, and they actually do a pretty good job with the grocery pickup and selection.
Grocery pickup is super convenient and it’s FREE. It saves me probably $50 every time we order groceries. I don’t know why exactly…maybe because of less impulse buys, or just getting a better price comparing them online…but either way, I consistently spend less by doing grocery pickup than I do if I actually go to the grocery store.
Not to mention, it saves a ton of time (I probably save 2 hours a week) and a lot of headache not having to deal with my little one wanting everything he sees up and down the aisles.
It’s really easy to use. You just download the app, get on the app and choose your groceries, choose your pickup location and time, then pull up to the pickup area and have your groceries loaded into your car. Super fast and easy.
Walmart also offers grocery delivery, where they’ll bring the groceries right to your house for you. So, if I’ve had an especially busy weekend or am feeling particularly lazy, occasionally I’ll even choose delivery. Although, there is a delivery fee if you choose this route, so for my budget’s sake…I typically just choose to do pickup.
So yeah…if you haven’t tried grocery pickup, I highly recommend that you try it. You can save $10 off your first order with Walmart grocery pickup here.
